Knights of Columbus Council 17048 (“Council,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a text message program to send Council news, event announcements, event reminders, volunteer opportunities, and related Council information to individuals who have opted in to receive them.
Opting In
Participation is voluntary and requires opt-in. You may opt in by:
- Submitting your mobile number through a form on this website and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages
- Providing written consent at a Council event or activity
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership, participation in Council activities, or any purchase.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You can expect approximately 2 to 6 messages per month, depending on Council activity and events.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. The Council does not charge for text messages; any charges come from your mobile carrier under your own plan.
Opting Out
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from the Council. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

We may revise these SMS Terms as our messaging program or practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are made.
